I’ve discovered that some of the most meaningful design work doesn’t happen in the spotlight. It happens behind the scenes, supporting causes, amplifying voices, and helping organizations connect with the people they serve. Through these quieter efforts, I’ve seen firsthand how design can be a tool for building awareness, strengthening communities, and creating real impact.
What began as a way to contribute to school events and local organizations has grown into something much more personal. Designing for service has taught me that creativity has the power to support and sustain meaningful change. Every graphic I create is part of a larger story. One that reflects my values and desire to make a difference through the work I do.
Looking ahead, I hope to continue using design to uplift others and serve a greater purpose. Whether it’s through nonprofit work, fundraising campaigns, or community-focused projects, I’m driven by the idea that good design isn’t just about how something looks, it’s about what it helps make possible.
Each year, the St. Luke’s Relay for Life team chooses a theme to guide its fundraising efforts for cancer research. I design custom t-shirts that bring these themes to life, helping unite participants and promote awareness. In the 2024–2025 school year, the team raised over $30,000 and was recognized among the American Cancer Society’s Top 100 fundraising teams nationwide, an achievement I’m proud to support through impactful design.
Hidden Gem Animal Rescue is a nonprofit shelter dedicated to saving and rehoming animals in need. I support their mission by creating adoption posters and social media graphics that highlight each animal’s personality and story. Through clear, compassionate design, I help increase visibility, connect pets with potential adopters, and spread awareness of the rescue’s ongoing work in the community.
At Ambler Farm in Wilton, CT, I photographed the farm grounds and animals to highlight the natural beauty and character of this local nonprofit. My goal was to create images that showcase the farm’s charm. The photography reflects Ambler Farm’s mission of connecting the community with agriculture, history, and sustainability. These photos provide the organization with authentic visuals that can be used for storytelling, promotion, and community engagement.
